About Milena Schuhmacher

Dr Milena Schuhmacher joined EPFL in July  2022 as an ELISIR fellow of  the School of Life Sciences.  The fellowship offers a finishing doctoral student or recent PhD graduate with a track-record of excellence and creativity the opportunity to work as an independent principal investigator heading a small team to conduct innovative research in any area of life sciences. Schuhmacher’s lab studies  organelle-specific phosphatidic acid species, assessing signalling and mapping phosphatidic acid localization and interaction networks.
