About Dennis Gillingham

Dennis studied Chemistry at the Memorial University of Newfoundland in St.John’s, Canada. He joined  the group of Prof. Amir H. Hoveyda for his PhD at the Boston College. In 2007, he joined the group of Prof. Donald Hilvert at the ETH Zurich as a Marie-Curie fellow. He moved at the University of Basel in 2010 as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016. Since 2024 he was nominated Full Professor.
